Series of Unfortunate events...

More of my Rainy day rants...
It was Friday evening when my brothers decided to fetch me from the office.. akala mo bait noh?! well not exactly, since there was no electricity back home they asked if they could charge their celphone in my desk... Errr.. do I have a choice? Pag hindi naman how could I reach them... fine fine... So plan was they'd go here I'll get their phone, charge it in my desk, leave it while we have dinner nearby and get back here to get their celphones. Easy right.. well everything went as planned except for the building elevators were all shut off... for some reason, i dont know maybe, the whole building was running low in generator supply (that every 10-30 mins everything would black off) and thought that there was probably a few tenants(not!) left in the whole building that they decide to shutdown all elevators...so what happen was I went down 16 flights of stairs to go down and meet my brothers, go up again 16 flights of stairs to have it charged, rest a little while, went back down 16 flight of stairs, eat dinner, go back here after an hour or so, went up 16 flight of stairs to get my stuff, and ofcourse again went down 16 flight of stairs to go home...i mentioned 16 right!? Freaking 16! hehehehehehe... Oh well... i did run 800m (2 oval trips) when i was young so i guess i still had my athletic abilities (hahahaha! who am i kidding?!) Sakit pa rin legs ko =(

E...Z...EAT? hehehe... I think by this time I was seing double...

So yesterday evening it rained again...(isang malaking bugtong hininga) And it was really pouring hard! I left the office a little past 6pm, no rain yet.. UST was seconds away from their championship...time out Ateneo... I had to leave coz' my officemate who i'll be riding with in the fort bus is already leaving... half way going to ayala mrt i remembered that i forgot something in the office, good thing ruth was still in the office, i called her up so i could just meet her after buying something in glorieta. Around 7 we meet in G4, part ways in Ayala MRT, and I think by 7:30 the shuttle I'm in was already heading to teh Skyway on ramp...By this time it was already raining hard and my mom texted me that it was also raining at home. By 8pm I was at the tricycle stand outside our Barangay. It was really raining hard to my surprize (well not really it always happen when its raining hard - but not to me!) there was a lot of people stranded in the tricycle shed and there was no tricycle leaving..why you may ask? because the creek was flooded.. Baha! Baha! grrrr talaga! I was tried, I was panicking, Waaa I don't deserve this!!! (haha drama ko) I called home in hopes that the road was still passable by bigger cars...but alas there when my parents got near to the creek road, they couldn't move also because there was a KIA (yup that tiny car) who braved the flooded street and got stuck coz his car didn't make it! Duh! the water was i think knee high! how can you expect your car to take that much water?! well one hour later the rained stop... but still the road was not passable since the water hasn't subsided.. 10pm Finaly my parents reached the tricycle stand that in a normal day would take 10-15 mins.. grabe!!! I got home think around 11.. drench with rain water and cold...hay itinulog ko na lang =(

Finally! Grabe Smart Bro Bulok!

Finally! a blog entry I wrote here at home! grabe grabe! Smart Bro's service is lame! Sucks! Nakakinis! the name from Smart Wifi to Smart Bro may have changed but the service!? I DONT recomend you get their service especially here in Parañaque...waste of money I'm telling you... its like more primitive than dial up! it may be faster but the service sucks! you get cut off every 10 mins...nawawalan ata ng signal... kahit yung service ng Smart wireless sa SM bicutan sucks din! grr! (hahaha pero eto ako Smart din ang cel provider ko) just counting the days! pinag iipunan ko na yung 3mos worth ng cut off fee nila... I'm trying to look for a really trusted DSL provider here in Parañaque.. Globe Broadband siguro or the one our cable is advertising... a few of my neighbors is using it na rin...

Ang sarap i-demanda tong Smart Bro dahil you don't really get your money's worth. We have spend more time complaining to their hotline than actually connecting sa internet. I pay on time, I pay the full amount...but do I get the service I deserve?! Hindi noh! Tapos nung minsan na bisitahin pa kami ng service van nila nagatasan pa kami ng 500 bucks (na walang resibo!) just for a meter of pipe tube and shifting of internet base station from one base to another...

Pero kahit anong rant ko or demanda ko man sila, it will be a lost cause kasi naka sign ako ng contract nila... that the only way I could cut their service before the contract expires is if you pay 3 mos worth of service (or non-service for that matter) leche! And get this, they could sue YOU for non-payment! hay naku! sila pa tong mag dedemanda sa iyo na wala ka naman nakuhang matinong serbisyo sa kanila! Tignan mo nga naman! Hay naku! so the best way I could get back at them is to educate the people around me and tell them that the price is cheap because the service they provide is cheap!! DONT USE SMART BRO!

Here's the math: I'm paying in a month 988.00 and we get to use it siguro wala pang 4 hours ng weekdays at sana 12 hours ng weekends kasi yun lang naman yung time na nandito ako sa bahay...so yung 4 hours sa isang weekday gawin mo ng 30 mins lang... bakit kamo?! wala pang week long na hindi kami mawawalan ng internet...most of the time it will take days talaga bago kami magkaroon ngconnection ulit. as in! Magaling lang sila sa pag uto sa iyo pero pag nauto ka na nila at naka pirma ka na ng contract nila wala na.. sino ka?! Grrr... And how much other providers cost, 999.00 yun Globe sure ka pa na 24/7 meron ka... yung sa cable namin 1200 sure pa ako na yung service nila maayos, kasi nung minsan masira yung cable namin mabilis naman nila naayos...alam mo yun.. you pay the extra cash for the better service...itong Smart Bro grabe wala na ngang internet wala pang service grr talaga...

I know, tanga na namin for sticking with Smart Bro when I've been hating them for months already... pero ako optimistic ako. Ito Example: When SUN cellular started, I think I was one of their first customers who applied their postpaid line in SM Bic, kahit at that time ang panget talaga ng service ng Sun, Text would really take hours to get in, and calls made from other providers doesnt really get thru... pero naman in time naging maayos na sila... I could call my mom's sun cel kahit peak time. May improvement...tong Smart Bro nag repackage lang from Smart Wifi to Smart Bro...nag pa advertise pa sa PBB Teen (so alam ko na kung saan nagagamit yung binabayad ko)... but the service never improved, after 10 months grabe!! Makarma na sana kayo! wake up SMART wag na kayo mag invest sa ganitong business! inuuto niyo lang yung mga tao...ang tawag dyan legal na magnanakaw/mangagandyo. Harapan kang ninanakawan, paggusto mo pang mag palit ng service ikaw pa ang kailangan mag bayad... talo pa ang illegal recruiter...sila, legal kang mananakawan.

I bet tom, wala nanaman itong internet namin... wost mamaya wala na ito... kaya susulitin ko muna kahit 30 mins - 1 hour ma enjoy ko naman yung 988.00 pesos na binabayad ko.. talo pa ang per mintute rate ng Wifi sa mga coffe shops.

I was looking at my archives and I saw my entry about 'Ugly Americans' who wrote an insulting entry about their experience in Jollibee in the US. So I guess in a way we Filipinos didn't take it lightly that days later she did wrote something about all the hate emails she got... 'Adventures in Jollibee Continued'. Poor biatch, hahaha... what did she expect to get after writing the way she did?! That in a way you could feel sorry for her, she probably thought that it was just funny and nobody would take it that seriously to flood her with hate mail and educate her with pinoy culture...hahaha..natatawa na lang ako...ayan.. let it be a warning to us, sometimes we never know who we could insult...malas niya pinoys pa ang sinagasaan niya.

Times like this I wish I own a really good digicam... Dirty window and video cam(better used for taking videos not pictures) makes a really pretty rainbow look like smudge in pictures. (Really? hehehe how many times did I say really??)( View pictures...)

Notice anything new about my layout?? Its odd and lame!! grrr! I was updating my layout to remove my tagboard since its not working anymore then pressed edit this template, for some unlucky twist of faith.. i dont know what i did or tabulas did...but I lost my template!!! grrrr! kakainis.. lahat na wala.. and I didn't back up...hay...

not that my layout was like uber great but my links were there, group tag board was there, grr talaga! now I have to rebuild from scratch.. hay when will I have time to do that??

Rebuilding the pieces

So this is the most of what I could do with my blog layout right now. Its the only thing I got backed up in my PC. I can't say that its sayang that I lost my layout (its not the most attractive layout in the world) but its still a lost something I couldn't get back. And now tabulas is updating and changing..hay kailangan sumabay sa agos ng pagbabago I guess its a sign, time to change my layout, Out with the Old and In with the New.

Anyway, this picture reminds me of Princess Diana's Funeral... I don't know why but I guess the ambiance makes me feel sad. It is a funeral but not princess di's. Its my Grandfather's funeral last Wednesday (My Papa's father). Its bitter sweet. Its sad to lose a family but can't help but think he's already blessed to have a good 88 years in his life. Can't say a lot of people now a days still reach that age. And he died because he was old not of some dieseas, which is good right.

I didn't cry, well I really tried not to. Cause his life was a happy one and there's nothing to be sad about it. He is a good man and he raised his family well. Good provider and I dont recall a moment he scolded us for anything. i loved my christmas(es) when I was a kid cause you really feel christmas with all the pamasko he gives. I wish that somebody out there in canada could read this and let him know that my lolo loved him so much and really waited for him and his family to visit. I never met my uncle but I wish he had kept his promise that he would visit last August. Alam niyo its sad when my other relatives talk about my lolo's son in Canada, how my lolo waited for him to visit here in the Philippines. He did write and made a 'promise' to visit here in the Philippines supposedly August of this year. Don't really know what went on between them (nagaway ata or something that caused my grandparents to move back here in the Philippines in the 90's - they were suppose to migrate there) pero I dont think there's enough excuse in the world not to go back and visit your ailing parents. Umikot man paatras ang mundo, they still are your parents and they are the reason why you are walking in this world. Hay...Thats all I have to say about that

With a Purpose

Coincidetally last year I wrote an entry about Celebrating Life and this year despite my lolo passing away, we still did celebrate Van's 24th birthday. It's only once a year that we get older and wiser (and prettier) and we get together (cess van and I) to celebrate not only Van'r birthday but ofcourse us being still good friends since HS. Saturday, 14th of October, we went to Mall of Asia (MOA). Its my first time. It was nice naman really big mall. But we weren't able to tour the whole Mall. Cess treated us at Crepes & Cream I'm telling you I dont really have a sweet tooth but I really really loved it!

I ate Mango Mania! Yum Yum!

The following day, I went with Van and her family at Bubba Gump. Seafood overload! Sarap din! grabe eating is fun and stress free! hehehe

I have launched my Online shop a little impromptu since I wasn't exactly planning on making it until I finished my accesories design. but the rabbit is out of the bag and I launched it anyways, starting with selling Magic Wallets that I got supplied thru a friend in college.
