Planetarium

A moonlit evening…shows its face…
Fading away… a child’s voice…
Far, far away…you’re somewhere in this sky, aren’t you?

At the end of summer
The two of us slipped out together
We found it in this park
That constellation…do you remember it, even vaguely?

*Even if we can’t meet
I still pursue the memories
Because I want to see the same happiness (as before)
Together with that fragrance
Fireworks explode(1) in a flash

I want to go to where you are
I want go running out right now
In complete darkness, I can’t see anything
Even if I’m scared it’ll be okay
The uncountable starry sky
Is now and has always been
Right here
Don’t cry, because it’s the beautiful sky from long ago
That I saw with you

Resounding as far as that street
The sound of shoes remain in my ears
Staring at my own big shadow and thinking
Although it shouldn’t have changed at all
Painful feelings grow
No matter how I thought about it
You’re no longer here

I want to be by your side
Even if I’m small, even if I’m small
I love you the most
You are needed desperately(2)
I tried to quietly wish
Upon a falling star but
Don’t cry, it’ll reach it, won’t it?
That beautiful sky

*

I want to go to where you are
Squeeze my small hand
I want to cry, that’s the… that’s the…
Beautiful sky
I tried to silently wish
Upon a falling star but
I want to cry, these feelings that won’t reach (you)
I send into the sky...

7-7-7

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 08:32 PM on July 7, 2007.

Today is lucky day 7!

I wonder what my Se7en is doing? Hehehe. Inankin ko ba daw? Tama ba yun? I can't help it! Cute cute!

So how's my life been? Its July!!! Rainy July though but its still is July!!! I'm so happy.

First recap of how my week was...

Finished watching Hana Yori Dango. Not disapointing at all. I was comparing it a lot with the Taiwanese adaptation Meteor Garden but it has a different feel to it. Can't say which I like better but I really love both. Loved the ending in Season 2 of Hana Yori Dango, super funny. I hope to be proposed to that way. Har har.

Au is already back in Manila! And I totally forgot to share her super advance pasalubong that she sent in the mail. Postcard all the way from Dublin. Aww aliw noh! Sayang, she just missed Justin Timberlake by a day in Dublin. I was in training the whole week so I only saw her back once or twice this week.

Like I said, I was in training the whole week, for something really um..good... so I'm happy. Can't say much since its work related. Note to self: Busy weeks ahead. And caution to you: I am really biatch when under pressure.

So to end my week for the first Friday of the Month.. I watched Christina Aguilera Concert in Fort Open field with VIP seats... ok thats a big lie... but I wish I could have...hehehe... But I had an even better week-ender, I watched Transformers, double dating with Manny M. - his date was Matt, and I was with my bestest friend Van. Really nice movie, love the effects a million times. I'm so happy to be born in the Transaformers generation. Aliw aliw. I think I do (we, who were able to watch the cartoons) have better appreciation of these kind of movies. Hmmm what else could they do a Live action movie, He-Man? She-ra? hehehe kidding! Visionaries could be nice. I was thinking if they could make a Live action of Voltron but then its Japanese, I don't know if any american production has made a Live action movie out of Japanese Cartoons.

Then spend the night as Van's, like always...hehehe grabe, since High School we've been having overnights just to catch up in each other's lives... Aww now I miss Cess na rin. Van and I haven't talked much even before she left Sunlife...and it was more that a month ago... so..chika chika.

Looking forward to...

Work... honest! can feel a really nice change...pressurable change...hehehe...but really happy about it. Need to do good.

Watching more Japanese series... hehehe... Dyane left me with a lot of Japanese series... Though the Hana Yori Dango was courtesy of Tita Rowie. Sometimes I confuse myself with Japanese and Korean expression. Baka! hehehe. So note to self for goals in life: to learn both Japanese and Korean Languages properly.

Seing the Merlion (or what I called the lion with the tail?!) by the end of July! Yey! *happy dance* And ofcourse seing my College-Student Assistant friends and finally celebrating their birthdays with them (hehehe last year I kinda stood them up - mianhe! Sorry!). Then the week after (or its after after?) I'll be meeting up with my College-CE Orig blockmates. Happy Happy. No reason to complain about life 'coz life is extraordinary, God is sooooo good to me.

I'm humming Mandy Moore's song again...
I was a bay tree
Quiet and unseen
I lived in stories but inside I kept a mystery
I was a starling
Nobody’s darling
Flying in perfect circles
Desperate company

And now I’m ready
And now I’m ready
And now I’m ready to be
Extraordinary...

Hello Moto!

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 01:35 AM on July 9, 2007.

Last Saturday, Van and I decided to take a stroll in Digital Exchange in Glorieatta, aka Temptation. No plans of buying anything yet, I still can't and even if I could I really shouldn't. But got to test this will power of mine. And sure enough it was damn hard!

Meet the Motorolla MOTOKRZR. The image you see is just about its actual size. I want! I want! I want! grrr... the sales guy said that the day before a lot of people was buying it, and was priced at 14,000+ but the selling price was now at 13,000+ hmm..that wasn't really encouraging... I pity those who bought this the day before. And I'm thinking why buy it now when the price could drop any day now...naks! pure will power yan

Oh speaking of mobile phone... Van's selling her dads O2 XDA II.

Its almost 2am still can't fall to sleep. Grr... this is what I get sleeping all day today...why you may ask? because I was up till 6am Sunday morning watching Kurosagi...hehehe...tell you about it in another entry.

Online Shopping

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 11:33 PM on July 10, 2007.

Now I (kinda) feel why there are people who enjoy online shopping. I purchased something online for the first time... well not really first first... hehehe.. I did purchase airline tickets online a couple of times already but this feels different since I guess I'm purchasing from a website not based here in the Philippines.

Now I find it really convenient just to be sitting here in my PC, purchasing. But shipping could be really expensive, I had to ask a big favor from dyane so it will just be shipped to her place instead. Plus security issues... but I think the site is safe, been a member since last year. Oh and the uncertainty that you're going to get what you exactly ordered... Good thing in the US they have some sort of return policy...
What to buy next? Maybe Se7en's Japanese Album? hehehe...waaa tama na, once lang...just to say that Oh I tried buying online already.. sosyal! hehehe...
Maybe I could set-up an online shop someday.hmmm...

***

update: side note after a few minutes later... its now dawning on me that I just purchased in USD waaaaaaaaaaaaa... mahal! sana hindi lugi sa exchange rate... hahaha... isip isip ng pampalubag loob... well I know people who have purchased more than the amount that I just did... sisiw lang toh! hehehe...

Note to self: I'm staring a Justin Timberlake fund already... have to be in VIP seats if and when he comes here to manila... Buti pa si bernice nakita na si JT in person.. waaaa.. isa pa yan.. astig talaga.

Heard it on Thursday

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 12:39 PM on July 13, 2007.

Did you know that...
-The reason why bumblebee in the Transformers movie is a camero and not a Volkswagen is that the company did not allow their car to be in 'War' movies. Well their lost since the movie is such a big hit.
- If you would notice most of the cars except for Prime are GM motors.
- That Voltron is a spin off of Voltes V. Its actually an american production made by the Japanese.

Aliw aliw noh.. I just heard it in RX last night, they have guest from Cybertron Philippines and Harry Potter fans. Check out their site coz they have cosplay events. Well wasn't really able to relate much to the HP part of the conversation, but I did like the idea that someone in the internet thought that in the last book of HP, several years after hogwarts, Hermione wrote all the HP books, something like that.

***

I also heard in the radio about the governments project to rehabilitate the Luzon railway system, from Pampanga to Calabarzon... they are currently relocating squatters who are staying around 15 meters from the railway.
Finally! I mean never once have I tried to ride the Train line (its not LRT and MRT) since you might end up being thrown human waste. eww. But a person who I know rode it before said its really fast.. err still not risking myself riding it. Look at how the train rail looks makati right now. Its really clean and decent. I really hope they make this work. Over the years, I've heard to much accident happening along this railway... but the government have done thing about it. But its time for tough love from the government to get these people relocated. They are even given decent homes to stay in.
And maybe in my life time I could ride this Train Line

***

Funny thing that happen to me this morning...

I was in such a hurry to get out of the car, that I forgot I had a roller on my head.. looked something like this

and I really didn't notice till when I saw someone at the corner of my eye looking at me laughing... so I kept my cool.. try ko remove it and act that I was totally cool about it rushing to get in the bldg, into the elevator.. and just laughed my butt off when I got on my seat... hahaha! So if you hear rumors in the bldg about someone having roller on her head, hay its moi...super funny.Friday the 13thkasi.

Music & Lyrics

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 10:50 AM on July 15, 2007.

OMG! Hugh Grant can sing!!!

Ok so took a side turn from my usual korean-japanese drama watching and decided to watch something that I could actually understand without the subtitles...

Ruthie has been talking about how she loves music and lyrics for as long as I can remember -- then starts to sing the Ive been living with a shadow over head, Ive been sleepin with a cloud above my bed, Ive been lonely for so long, Trapped in the past, I just cant seem to move on -- then I'd say stop stop stop, can't relate aka my ears are starting to pop! hahaha joke lang ruth. just really can't relate.

Anyway, until one day, I finally got a copy of Music and Lyrics, watched it, love it! I love Hugh Grant the same way I love him in Notting Hill, Sense and Sensibility, Love Actually, About a Boy, Bridget Jones's Diary, Nine Months, Two Weeks Notice, Four Wedding's and a Funneral, Mickey Blue Eyes and Extreme Measures (and these are the only ones I've watched, I think he has a couple more english films released and most of which was still on VHS and I was too young too watch hehehehe) I didn't know he could sing?! Didya? I didn't. Hughie is such a romantic in the movies.

I love Drew Barrymore as well. This is probably the nicest movie I've seen her on (imho), followed by 50 First Dates. And how coincidental that their family business in the movie was this weight loss center when Drew once did have a cellulite problem of her own... hehehe nice little detail.

Love the movie. Movie lines were nicely written. Love the conversation between Hugh and Drew through out the movie, its like having normal chats between two good friends. Feel good movie. Really makes you want to find a way back into love.

Now, I might end up singing this along with Ruth, a lot of ears probably will pop! hehehe :D

Kurosagi

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 08:36 PM on July 17, 2007.

Kurosagi (The Black Swindler) is a JDorama based on a popular manga of the same name. Its the story of Kurosaki, a swindler who swindles other swindlers and returns the money to those who the swindler have swindled (tongue twister?!)

Anyways, its an ok series to watch. Its like manga meets CSI... hehehe... or maybe not... hmmm what should I compare it to? Its like anime... hehehe but in live action. (Labo ko) Well I did like the twist in every episode plus you get to agree with the plot that yeah, I've been swindled that way!!! *then flash back to my privilege card experience* If only there was a Kurosagi that will swindle my 4800 back And like any other robinhood-ish show, the moral twist in the story is if's its right to get even by doing something morally wrong -- does the ends justifies the means?

About the actors, Kurosagi (Yama) is cute, though he would remind me of Rutom Padilla when he was young and still in the closet. And the leading lady (Maki) reminds me of Kitchie Nadal. There will be a movie released in 2008. Hopefully its of the same cast.

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 10:44 PM on July 18, 2007.

Just finished watching the first episode of The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince aka Coffee Prince. It just started airing in Korea last July 2, 2007. And WITH S2 is currently subbing it...so I still have to wait a few more weeks or a month to actually finish watching.

Anyone who looks familiar?? Eun Hye is actually the girl from Goong/Palace... yup and you really don't know if she's a boy or a girl in this series.

All work and no play makes a sad life. :P pero ako happy!

Posted by jeng_is_cute at 10:04 PM on July 22, 2007.

hahaha... labo ng title ko but I was really busy last week with work and most probably this week... but it doesn't mean I should deprive myself with a little must do's catching up with long time friends.

Starting with Dyane, who is back in town just for two weeks again. Can't miss this opportunity to watch a movie.. after all we use to be members of this movie club they had before. Watched Harry Potter The Order of the Phoenix in GB3. Kinda sorry that I didn't watch it in IMAX, after all I 'm such a sucker for visual effects. I think it would have been great to watch the fight scenes in 3D. Well still liked the movie a lot. I don't read the books so I didn't really miss much on anything but it made me want to read the book.

Friday night was date with JVC girl (Jeng-Van-Cess) my High School bestest friends. Been friends since first year HS (although I think we just started being friends 4th quarter - Van will tell you how she didn't like her first impression of snotty me, and I'd tell you how she didn't invite me to her birthday... tsk tsk tsk.. hahaha!) And even though Cess went to a different college, we kept in touch and would meet for sure at least once a year. Cess treated us to North Park near Glorieatta 2, then off to Star Bucks to do some more chitchat. She's already engage!! waaaa... soo excited for her. And we know the guy she is marrying is a really good guy. Aaron and Cess congrats!

Then come saturday, Van wasn't able to sleep much the night before... not solely because of Starbucks coffee but because HP7 was came out Saturday morning... I though we'll be lining up 7am... good thing she wasn't that fanatic about it... but she did thought about lining up early a few times... Still we had a lunch date to catch...we met up with the smalltalk girls, IT friends in college... Kat and Aileen, and we are all still single as ever...hahaha... Talked about life, work, things we missed, people who we know back in college, chismis as always... After lunch Kat and Ai had to catch the HP5 movie and Van and I had an appointment to catch.

Flashback the night before ...eating dinner with Cess, we noticed how really nice and soft her hair was. As in! So the next day, we scheduled an appointment.

at Bench Fix in Glorietta 2, the one near Toby's! hahahaha.... soooooo impulsive of us... this is to date my most expensive thing I've ever spent on in a salon. I've had my hair relaxed and power dose. You have to see me to see the results.. hahaha! as if there's a big change. I still have straight hair. Pero kaya ko nang tapatan ang Rejoice Commercial in Kim Chiu Kering-Keri Ko!

As for today, it wasn't an unproductive day as well. I finished watching Coffee Prince Episode 2. Grabe, korean series has become more out there a... kissing scene on the second episode... hahaha... Then while waiting for Episode 3 to finish downloading I watched The Break Up staring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, I find it really interesting... hehehehe.. basta oks naman ako sa open ended ending.

yey! a few more hours and I'll be off to Singapore! yup yup, I'll be visiting the Merlion and making my way to shopping and drolling and popping my eyes to electronic envy...hahaha...

I had just got my Leaves approved yesterday lunch time by my portfolio manager. So now I have no worries, and really really excited to having this vacation! well not quite no worries yet... to this time I haven't packed my stuff yet... hehehe... Just finished the itinerary info stuff I needed... a good traveler should always research on his/her destination!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

My Student Assistant Friends - 2 of many SAs I got to work with back in college especially during 6pm-9pm shift. Diane in yellow and Farriza in Blue. Picture taken back in February before Farriza left for Singapore to work... huhuhu... naiiyak ako sa premature bangs ko nun... LOL!

It will be just Diane and I going to Singapore through Cebu Pacific - yes, this ticket was purchased impulsively during CB's piso fare... I think I still have the YM archive to prove it. Got to book it 3am, Friday early morning and I still have to work that day.

As for welcoming committee in Singapore... that would be Jay and his sister Shine (who I also got to work with as SAs) then meet up far for her Aug 29 birthday!! yay!!

Hopefully I get to post pictures or short entries during the week.

I think, I would be missing the HongKongers a lot during this trip... No more Jamih and Teng to tour around and talk chinese... No more Manny to take pictures and make sure the itinerary is followed... No more roomie Ruth to loan me dollars in case we find ourselves out in the streets looking for a hotel in the early mornings... No more Ben to bring an un-inspected friend (hindi na friend test sa public place, hahaha)...No more Manoy's foot spray from Body Works after a very long walk walk walk day... huhuhuhu...

Still... I'm so looking forward to this trip with my college friends... ang saya... I missed their, Leyte-Samar-Bohol adventure...last year... so bawi na ito Kailangan ma practice ang night mode ng camera ni Ruth para sa night safari... and no spamming of pasalubong request! Key chain lang balak ko bilhin! pag may reklamo walang key chain! hahahaha LOL!

x'cess: na aliw ako feeling ko uso ang mag punta sa ibang bansa this year...hehehe...dami nag popost sa multiply ng trips nila..happy happy happy... next year Korea?! sana sana sana.. hehehe

and a glass of Bandung. local drink.. it takes like rose petals, honest!
