Lets see if I could make a brief recap on how my 2007 ended and hopefully how I would like to my 2008 to begin for me.

Hmmm went to Tagaytay twice in a week first would be the SA reunion thinggy and next would be with college original batchmates, Tin, Jerrick, and Jr.

And instead of buying Sparklers for the new year, I ended up buying pirated DVDs (kasalanan ni Dyane! hahaha)

this week I only went to work for 3 days, but my body is aching like hell! I need drugs! Pain killers! hahaha. Well not really complaining, it’s not aching because of work anyways, its just nature’s way of letting me know what my gender is if you know what I mean.

Though aching, I still am very functional and able to blog away how my week was, first week of January... its 2008! Feeling surreal that it’s another new year, you know that feeling that you are making another puzzle set and each piece is being placed one piece at a time. Like life is a box of 1000 pieces puzzle set - if one piece doesn't fit right you set it aside till it finally fits your life.

Wednesday January 2, 2008... its the day after the first day of the year, after being a sleep in bed the whole day before and waking up once in awhile checking on my mom who was awake for more 24 hours already due to watching spring waltz (hehehe haba intro)... its the first day of work for me in 2008. I got to the office that is only about 1/4 full, half of the people were already transferred to the new office space in the 15th floor and the 1/4 people are the ones who are smart enough to file for leave for another week long vacation.

This is the uberly futuristic looking microwave in the 15th flr, you can check on yourself while heating your food! cool huh? LOL!
  
  
Finally got a Starbucks Planner yay!! Thanks to Jerrick who gave me the card and again Jerrick, Tin, and Jr who contributed to the already half full card, to Pads, Iam, and Dyane for drinking xmas drinks for my double stickers, Van for the 2nd card with regular stickers to complete my regular drinks, and last to Dyane again who bought 1 xmas drink to finally complete my Starbucks card! I'm sure the charity that starbucks is sponsoring thanking us all for making a contribution thru starbucks, and I'm 100% sure that starbucks is loving this promo every year!
I made the planner as my Thank You journal. Inspired by Oprah's journal, I could remember watching episodes of her show with Maya Angelou, how there are soo much to be thankful to God about and we should write them down so we'll be reminded how blessed we are. I know this will come in handy during rough times in my life.

I don't know what I ate the day before but I told myself that if I wake up really early I'll curl my hair for CE friends dinner. And I did! Yay! One of these days I'll teach you how I made my soft curly curls, step by step... hehehe.
  
  

Tobal is back in Manila! It’s a mini reunion with Tin, Jerrick, Mica, and Tobal at Cyma in Greenbelt 3. It’s my first time to eat Greek cuisine, and I enjoyed it with all the food swimming in olive oil and some kind of herbs, I couldn't believe that I was eating eggplant and cucumber fried thingies. After a couple of awkward bits of pauses, conversations eventually came flowing in naturally... and saya! The last time we saw Tobal was dinner in Avenetto, before he left for Beijing more that a year already.
  
And conversation continued on in Coffee Bean till past 1am. It’s really nice talking to these guys, even though I bailed out on my original course (CE) and shifted (ST) we remained really good friends. Of course conversations about the good old college days is still is a popular topic, who is where now a days, who's married, split up, hot momma, hot papa... then the next in list would be love, sex, and fantasies...hahaha! Kampamilya and Kapuso topics... Too bad I don't have pics other than the one's I have above, hopefully Tin shares her pictures in her digi-cam.

  

I know this is a little over due being more than a few days after the start of the new year... but still...

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just assholes. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better have a big weenie or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think. I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place.

Kidding! I got this over some website... its funny, a little perverse way of looking at things but kinda true...i think.

I didn't realize how fast the week went by till I woke up this morning... its sunday, and before that feeling of got to go to work again tomorrow starts to sink in I want to share with you what a really nice week I had last week.

Starting with lunch out Monday, where Ruth treated me to lunch in UCC... hahaha kapal ko talaga. Good thing Ruth is feeling generous that day... wala naman sa plano mag lunchout.

I'm Early! Second time to come to the office before 6am... my brother decided not to go home again and he has the car with him... which means I'm stuck with two options... come to work really early coz' the FX is coding, or commute to work... well obvious choice - i don't want to smell like pinausukan manok early in the morning, the usok is not even a mouth watering smell... hehehe

So getting some inspiration from Van's Retail Therapy the other Saturday (and heard that Britney Spears is doing it as well) I did a little shopping of my own... Hay feeling kinda sad lately... you know that saying that its better not to know what you are missing... well... I kinda know now what I'll miss... Its darn hard taking the road less traveled... huhuhuhu... its bitter sweet I guess...
Back to shopping... So I started with buying Van's wallet, I kinda like her wallet she bought last week... and nothing was tickling my fancy in Girbaud... which is good since she liked a better wallet and bought it as replacement... Next was in SM Bic... bought a lot of undergarments... 2 dresses... and like it wasn't enough I also bought 2 shirts... hmmm... but being the frugal person that I am, instead of feeling better, I think I just found what big hole I just burned.. tsk tsk tsk...Lesson learned, not all things work that for somebody else works for me as well... hehehe... but its ok, I need the wardrobe overhaul anyway.

I know that eavesdropping is a bad habit to pick up... but this is different, I didn't ask to over hear it, all of us in the shuttle heard this guy loud and clear...this one you got to read!

Its about this pompous prick na feeling niya he is god's gift to women! as in!!

So parang any other work day, I rode the shuttle below the Ayala MRT going home. Salamat kay Lord at saktong pagsakay ko aalis na yung shuttle because I was really really sleepy at ang aga ko sa office today. I was hoping to catch a short nap since its traffic in edsa-southsuper but 5 mins along our shuttle ride, I started hearing this guy's conversation with his friend about his love life (I know eve's dropping is bad - but you really can't help but over hear him because he was really loud and the shuttle sound system was mahina). I think his name Ian (pronounced with long I, parang AYan - this is for anyone who knows someone who goes by this name and this story sounds familiar, naku humanda yung Ian). He was telling his friend that he was suppose to marry this girl, as in nag effort pa daw siya na mag paalam sa magulang, tapos parang nag propose pa ata siya sa may MOA during fireworks nung 2005... cheesy... well at this point I haven't realize he was a prick yet... and I could only hear bits and pieces of the story pa lang kasi was trying to catch sleep nga. So ang intindi ko, something happen, parang nagka third party si Girl, sa tele something na company niya...tapos nag ka labuan... na parang sabi niya pa, pag pinilit pa rin daw nila yung kasal nila magkakahiwalay din naman daw sila in the end. May sinasabi pa siya na parang nag sosorry or nanghihinayang yung magulang ni Beth daw (parang yan ata yung name nung ex niya) at hindi nga natuloy yung kasal, meron na nga atang caterer parang ganun... o basta bottom line hindi siya kinasal. At some point in time ata sinubukan daw siyang balikan nung girl afterwards (sabi niya nag mamakaawa ata parang ganun! feelingero), pero sabi niya parang kung hiwalay daw, wala nang balikan.. parang ganun (yabang! hahaha) basta gusto niya pag tapos na, tapos na.

Ewan ko exactly kung kelan nag simula umusok yung ilong ko... basta napunta sila sa topic na, binibigyan niya na ng advice yung friend niya sa pagpili ng babae...(omg! feeling cassonova as in!) eto lang ha, bago ko i share kung anong advise ang pinagsasabi niya sa friend niya... Van type yung shuttle na 4 rows at 4 persons each row...8 kaming babae na sure kong nakasakay.. kasi 4 sa harap ko girls, 4 kami sa row namin na puro din girls.. may 4 na tao sa likod ko.. at sa 4 na tao pa sa dulo, nasa dulo sila nakaupo... at sure na sure ko rin sa lakas ng boses niya lahat kami naririnig yung 'Personal na Opinion' niya.

Sabi niya sa friend niya na nag ka GF daw siya na 28 years old (or 31 yung girl siya 28, ah basta), parang sobrang seryoso na daw sa relationship... na dapat daw enjoy lang pero eto daw parang iba daw (duh! ungas ba siya... nag BF-GF pa kayo kung hindi seryoso, ano yun HS?? may totoong relationship ba na hindi seryoso?? ewan ko) Eto lang nga daw ang personal na opinion niya! as in nilakasan niya pa, at inulit ulit na personal na opinion niya lang naman daw ito... na ang mga babae na 26 pataas, nag mamadali na daw yan (common knowledge ba yun, kasi sa dating ng pananalita niya parang fact na siya) tapos ni-bad mouth niya pa yung ex niya na 28/31 years old - kaya uminit ilong ko!... kaya advise niya sa friend niya na dapat daw enjoy lang (in other words ata wag pumatol sa 26 pataas)... e yung friend niya may type ata na chicks... sabi niya basta pare, PI (ay hindi ko pala nasabi na he says PI or TangI in every sentence) dahan dahan lang yung mga babae daw na nag mamadali hindi daw maganda yan. As in feeling ko yung katabi ko nakikita yung facial expression ko.. kasi tumataas na yung kilay ko, yung mukha ko parang manunutok na.. sabi ko sa sarili ko siguraduhin mong gwapo ka kasi sa dating ng pananalita mo, yabang talaga! humanda kang ungas ka... feelingero... tapos sabi niya... pero pare, single ako ngayon e, siguro kasi yung mga ex ko nasa 21, 23, 24 years old, e pag ganun syempre hindi naman sila nag mamadali e, parang nag hahanap na ng ibang boyfriend hindi nagmamadali... ah PI ka rin! Leche! as in lumingon na nga ako e, kinagat ko lang dila ko kasi as in sasabihin ko na sana na SHUT UP SHUT UP kaya lang inisip ko na maghulusdili at inaatok lang ako.

As in akala ko na wo-wow mali kami.. kasi hello are you blind.. 8 girls kami at the least sa shuttle... kung ano anong ka gaguhan pinagsasabi mo about your manhood.. machismo eklat... as in if you were there talaga... parang kung makapanlait ng babae.. parang walang babae na nakasakay.

So nung dumating sa SM Bic (ayan... so somewhere dyan ang bahay ng ulupong na yan) edi nag babaan na... ako naiwan pa sa shuttle kasi next stop pa ako... as in tinignan ko talaga kung kanino nangagaling yung boses.. sa pinaka dulo pa talaga nakaupo.. as in napa mura ako ng P*nyeta, akala mo sinong gwapo... nung bumaba.. nagby-bye sa kasama niya.. last na bumaba hindi pa nga sinara yung door ng shuttle, ako pa ang nag sara ng door... HINDI naman gwapo akala mo sinong artistang hinahabol habol ng mga EX daw niya. Wala nga akong maisip na artistang pwedeng i compare e.. kahit si Bentong wala pa sa kuko ni bentong e... hindi pang TV ang itsura... as in.. kung makakwento about sa babae feeling mo dami ng experience e.

So naiwan kaming pasahero, isang sure akong bading.. isang friend na na guy (hindi ko sure kung bading din) at ako... syempre yung driver nag dri-drive.. nag eavesdrop nanaman ako.. sabi nung bading.. Did you hear the guy conversation?? grabe naman dito pa talaga sila nag usap... as if there weren't girls here see as in mutual feeling!! Ungas talaga! Hay naku, I think the girls lang were educated enough not to listen to him, kung ako talaga he should look at his ugly face in the mirror nga! Nagtatawanan na lang sila..

Naku pasalamat sa AI at lumamig pa ulo ko... yun lang naman... sa akin fine fine personal opinion na yun, be an ahole for all I care, pero sana hindi naman yung pinangalandakan mo pa kung gaano ka shallow in your view of girls.. and to think as in may mga girls dun grabe talaga grabe wala akong masabi basta swerte nung ex mong hindi ka pinakasalan, love siya ni lord kasi hindi ikaw ang nakatuluyan niya! yun lang... sana hindi ko na makasabay sa shuttle ulit.

So got a check up yesterday, and I was surprise a bit to find out that I've been deleted in the health plan system, thinking that I do have a few more days left of benefits... shouldn't I? Of course benefits are given to those who are still qualified right? Well though I still was... Oh well papel, bitter sweet
