I know I have a bad habit of sticking my nose in somebody else's business and give my unsolicited personal opinion especially when I know the person all to well, aka we've been like friends for a really long time... Well tell me who doesn't. Hahaha!
Then us being friends and all, I think that lines are open enough to tell me to shut up face to face, mind my own business, and my opinion are not wanted, with no hard feelings on my part - since after all its my bad.
But then, childish acts like ignoring me and letting me figure out that I burst a nerve somewhere in that fragile brain after giving my opinion, makes me tick off. What an a*hole! is my first reaction followed by a couple of curses then rationalizing things.
Oh yes, there are better things to waste my energy on (i.e. like the darn pest in my CR popping on my glass mirror - whatever tiny pest it is, its days are numbered!!!)
Now I'm in blue skies again. Happy. Up to doing bad habits again. Hehehe. Who knows, the next nerve I pop grows some much needed sense in that someone's brain.
My blog wouldn't have been named imnsho, if not for my unsolicited opinions.

I found something yesterday, its like a pair of shoes that is to perfect to pass up. I know I'm perfect for it, and yet I still don't have it, nothing concrete. I know I maybe setting my expectations too high, but I need to believe and let the universe conspire with me and claim it to be mine! And I'm not talking no for an answer

Complaints with an Airline - Thank God they have good Ticketing Office

I would have expected better from JetStar compared to Cebu Pacific, that is why I booked a flight with them instead of my country's own carrier (here's one in a lot of my reasons why), but alas, disappointment as well... or I'm just pissed of that I had to wake up at 8am in the morning just to find out that I could not do anything about my flight... but where do I complain?? Oh yes, lets begin here in my blog.
Here's the short version of the story, I was trying to rebook my flight since yesterday evening, unfortunately for me I only have 24 hrs to rebook my flight since it was due Monday early morning. And I was being prompted by the message above. What's the damn use of there website when you can't use it. Demmit, what a really big inconvenience. And the link you see "contact Telephone Reservations" is even a dead link. So, read the agreement at the back of my booking ticket and found that their call centers are only open 8am-5am on weekends here in Singapore - if I was in the Philippines my sorry ass can't call in since their manila office is closed on weekends. I tried calling their 24 hr hotline (which by the way is an international number and will not pay you back for any cost it may incur you) but too bad for me that I can't contact it. Argh! this is frustrating me. So decided to wake up really early in the morning at 8am HOPING that I would get something out of the call center agent that I talked with but, crap I've been played with the "Sorry but you can only rebook your ticket 24hrs before your scheduled flight". And when I asked several times what should I do about it then, its their system who got me into this mess. "Even if you talk to an officer, they will tell you the same thing, you should have called our 24hr number." Either way its my loss.
Now I'm sooo irritated. I know I really can't do anything about it. But since they already cost me about 64USD and a couple more for tax, I was thinking if it will be worth my time to return the favor and complain in their Terminal 1 office. I mean all I could do right now is complain right? There is no liability with airlines when its there's systems fault??? Its a major pain. This is pain. I was willing to pay the 24USD rebooking fee... now I have to pay for how much again?
What a rip off!So that was me this morning, lack of sleep and frustrated, I haul my ass to Changi Airport for their only ticketing office, I would assume they are open since they are right inside the departure area.
Thank God! The lady in the terminal heard me out. I have just cause anyways, I gave her a print out of their system being down and explained to her that I did try to book it yesterday, and also this morning. She also told me that rebooking was suppose to be 24 hours before my flight but was kind enough to accommodate my request (I have proof that I really did try to rebook it the night before, and 15 mins later I was out or Terminal 1 and Back to Changi MRT.
So service in Jetstar is definitely way better. But I do hope that budget airlines in the Philippines would pick up on good customer service. They shouldn't sacrifice cheap fares for good customer service. Because in the long run, service is still everything...

Truth Be Told...

If my blog haven’t given you any clues yet, I am in a distant country, spending the millions of mullah I’ve earned, and living the life of a queen!
Not! Well, truth be told, I’m in a country not my own but just a few hours away from mine – still in the same time zone, have not earned my millions yet, but when I do, I plan on spending a little (of course sharing the blessings ), and my life is always that of a drama queen (err? WhatThe??).
Vacations over…and yes I have to admit it that I am a bum – but hopefully not for long. Today marks my 30th day in Singapore. Yesterday was suppose to be my return flight back home, but I have already fix everything that I needed with my visa so all I need right now is work!
Work, work, work… I missed being stressed out due to work. I miss complaining that I have too much work with so little time. I miss the drama. Seriously! I haven’t been without work for the longest time, even back in college something pre-occupies my time – SA, G&W… then SPL work came after graduating college so I never really felt I have nothing to do.
But there are of course a lot of things to do here… just not work related. I was somewhat in denial for quite some time though, that I was still on vacation, just leveling up on my job hunting… but yes it helps that I’ve got a lot of really smart and encouraging people to talk to. Who gives me advice and makes me strong and supports the decision I’ve made to move on and try something new. It’s not like these things haven’t been done before… You’ll be surprise with a lot of people who have done it a number of my friends did the same thing I am doing now.
The one thing I am happy with is that I know when I left my former company that I was in good terms with them. Of course there were some little things that I wasn’t happy about but that wasn’t a major reason I left. I still loved working there, I truly honestly enjoyed the people I worked with (I just don’t know with them working with me…hehehe). Besides, I wouldn’t have cried sad tears during my exit interview if I wasn’t sad about leaving.. . Just time for greener pastures I guess.
There! I’m done blogging about this. Yey! That’s one item off my To Do List today.

Photoshop-ing

I got a few pointers from this website Photoshop Tutorials which i got from Iam's blog site. I got to expand my photoshop knowledge... I think I gave a satisfactory effort on it... I could still see myself making better improvements... but this is what I made so far. Not bad (not great either) for my first try.
